Blitzcrank, Thresh, and Xayah Buffs in Patch 2.4d

Wild Rift has just released their new Patch 2.4d which is providing a few tweaks here and there to help get some of the less prosperous champions more into the fold. A lot of the buffs here come from poor performance in the mid to elite levels of play.

 

Patch Notes 2.4d

Blitzcrank

(Overdrive) Mana: 75 to 50. Overdrive Movement Speed: 70/75/80/85% to 75/80/85/90%

Dr.Mundo

(Base Stats) Health regen per level: 0.81 to 1.07; Health regen at level 15: 21 to 24

(Infected Cleaver) Max Monster Dmg: 270/330/390/450 to 125/200/275/350

(Sadism) Total health regen: 60/85/110% to 50/75/100%

Senna

(Absolution) Mist Wraith spawn rate on minion kills: 7% to 3%

Thresh

(Flay) [Passive] Bonus basic attack damage granted per soul: 1 to 2

Xayah

Attack Damage per level: 2.65 to 3.6; Attack Damage at level 15: 102 to 115

Zed

(Shadow Slash) Base damage: 70/105/140/175 to 70/100/130/160; Bonus AD ratio: 80% to 70%

 

Free To Play Rotation:

[09/30 – 10/6]: Diana, Evelynn, Gragas, Irelia, Kai’Sa, Katarina, Kennen, Rakan, Thresh, Tristana

[10/7 – 10/13]: Alistar, Aurelion Sol, Braum, Darius, Ezreal, Fiora, Graves, Jhin, Seraphine, Shyvana

Reactions

There are a few notable buffs happening in this patch to get some champions more in the fold. Blitzcrank is recieving a buff to his Overdrive ability that’ll lower the mana and increase it’s movement speed. With the higher mobility devs are hoping it’ll get players to use him more in the bot lane.

Thresh will also be recieving a damage buff to his passive in 2.4d. The devs acknowledge Thresh as a “high skill” champion that players tend to stray away from compared to the easier supports. With the bonus damage added from his passive maybe it’ll help coherce players into playing this champion more.

They’ve also made it a point to nerf champions that’ve been “overperforming.” The Zed nerf comes in becasue of his obvious ease of play. According to Riot they want gameplay to be centered around hitting the right skills at the right time with him. Senna’s mist stacks have had her outdoing the rest of the pack, as we can see by the numbers she took a serious hit but it’ll put her on par with the other ADCs.
